AWS EC2 Running background process

Have you ever tried to run something in background inside an server instance on AWS EC2?
Well, after you exit from the server the process dies, this means that the service that you providing will not run in background.

So, researching about that, i found an simple command that keeps running the service even if you exit.

When you exit an ssh session, the Operational Systems sends an SIGHUP signal to all the process opened during the ssh session.

So the “nohup” command prevent the process be closed by the SIGHUP signal.
