Week 4 of my GlockStore Experience.

Week 4 is in the books.

My manager met with me to give me feedback on where I stood and gave very positive feedback then set a goal.

My goal: to make $8000 dollars in sales and 600 calls a month.

This is a modest entry-level goal that I am determined to crush and am already well on my way to doing.

During my first week, I made approximately $4000 in sales via phone — half of my monthly minimum.

I have made an average of 30 calls a day and am trying to bring that number up to 40. To bring up my call numbers I need to be briefer and to the point. I enjoy conversation and don’t want to come off like I’m reading a script, but I may come up with a concise standard response for faqs that I can reference when necessary.

I am also really settling in and beginning to relax more around my co-workers. As the new guy, I want to impress them and am sometimes afraid to ask questions for fear of looking stupid.

However, I’m increasingly more comfortable asking questions and simultaneously less likely to ask them as my experience grows.

I also know that I’m working well and impressing my managers with my responsibilities and work and this makes me more comfortable asking questions when I’m stumped.
