Goodbye Allocation Pool!

Removing Allocation Pool and Embracing a Two-Round System to GAMI Launch

GAMI — Goodbye Allocation Pool

Dear GAMI Community,

We are thrilled to announce a significant update to our IDO (Initial DEX Offering) structure that will bring more excitement to our token launch events. As part of our continuous efforts to enhance user experience and adapt to the evolving market dynamics, we are removing the Allocation Pool and transitioning to a two-round system for all future IDOs.

In the previous model, the Allocation Pool played a role in determining the token allocation for participants. However, we recognized the need for a more inclusive and efficient process that aligns with the principles of decentralization. With the new two-round system, we believe we can achieve just that.

We have analyzed the number of participants in IDOs conducted through the allocation pool. We have identified the number of users who participated in the allocation pool but did not exercise their purchase rights, and instead opted for the FCFS (First-Come, First-Served) approach.

In the first round, there was a disadvantage: Participants who applied for purchase rights but did not utilize them were negatively affecting the purchase right amounts in the first round. We aim to eliminate this issue.

The second round also had a disadvantage: There were users who intended to participate in the IDO but did not join the IDO allocation pool, only waiting for the FCFS round. This disrupted the demand balance between the first and second rounds.

With the recent changes we have implemented, we will determine purchase rights in the allocation pool based on the total number of tiers, compared to the number of participants per tier in previous IDOs. This way, each tier holder will be able to make more purchases.

A smaller pool will be left for the second round, encouraging participation in the first round.

In summary, being a tier holder and participating in the IDO in the first round will be crucial.

This system will provide us with new data, and if the negative impact outweighs the positive impact, we will reevaluate as a team.

Here’s how the new IDO structure will work:

By implementing this new IDO structure, we aim to create a more inclusive and engaging experience for our community. The tier-based allocation in the first round ensures that participants have a fair chance to buy their desired allocation, while the unlimited allocation in the second round provides additional flexibility for those who wish to acquire more tokens.

We are excited about these changes and believe they will pave the way for a more dynamic and rewarding IDO environment. We value your continued support and trust as we continue to innovate and adapt to meet the needs of our growing community.

Stay tuned for upcoming IDO announcements and be sure to follow our official channels for the latest updates. Together, let’s embark on this exciting new phase and shape the future of decentralized finance!

Best regards,

The GAMI Team
