Cancer Cure in Vedas?

Vedas are ancient knowledge texts in “Sanskrit” language originated in Indian sub-continent. It is said it contains 95% non-religious information on various topics like Economics, Music, Medicine etc..

In Vedas, there are many hymns praising Indra, the king of Gods. He is directly associated with a drink called “Soma”, which is prepared from a plant. The plant is not yet correctly identified and still there is debate going on that. As per Vedas, Soma is known as elixir , hallucinogen and makes one immortal.

There are some other competitors for SOMA drink and a good research on them may shed some light on cancer treatment. It is mentioned in rigveda, “I am drinking SOMA and what Internal enemies can do to me”, Are they referring to cancerous tumours???
