A pink poem!

Pink is my favourite colour
Pink is flowers, tight little buds with a tip
Of palest blush.
The promise of beauty to come.

Pink is the colour of comfort,
Warm and loving,
Gentle and sweet.
The softness of a tender mothers hug.

Pink is a smooth satin comforter,
Over a warm bed.
Cosy on a cold night;
A cuddle from an old friend.

Pink is for the tip of a pony’s nose;
nuzzling for carrots in my pocket.
It’s my favourite fluffy jumper when the weather turns cool.
Just what I need, right when I need it.
